Starting from midnight on Wednesday, November 4, motorists and households across Luxembourg will benefit from reduced fuel prices, as announced by the government. This move is set to offer significant financial relief for those relying on petrol, diesel, and heating fuel.
The price adjustments will see EuroSuper 95 petrol decrease by 8.1 cents per litre, bringing the new price to €1.678. Meanwhile, SuperPlus 98 petrol will be reduced by 6.4 cents, setting the cost at €1.835 per litre. Diesel users will experience a drop of approximately 7.1 cents, with the price adjusted to €2.039 per litre. Additionally, heating fuel will see a reduction of 7.2 cents, resulting in a new price of €1.529 per litre.
Alongside these changes, the cost of LPG will be €0.972 per litre, while residential propane will be priced at €0.953 per litre. Consumers who purchase bottled propane will now pay €2.459 per kilogram, and bottled butane will be available at €2.262 per kilogram.
These reductions are expected to ease the financial burden on drivers and households, particularly those who rely on fuel for transportation and heating purposes. The updated prices reflect the government’s effort to provide some economic relief in the face of fluctuating global fuel markets.
